Day 1 "You Are Beautiful"

Beauty of Newness of Life

Happy New Year Beauties!

“I waited patiently for God to help me; then he listened and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out from the bog and the mire, and set my feet on a hard, firm path, and steadied me as I walked along. He has given me a new song to sing, of praises to our God. Now many will hear of the glorious things he did for me, and stand in awe before the Lord, and put their trust in him.” Psalm 40:1-3 (TLB)

On Day 1 let’s jump right in to reflect on our glorious Jesus who rescued us from the pit of hell and gave us new life. Don’t you love the way King David describes our circumstances prior to Jesus saving us in this Psalm? How would you describe your life prior to knowing Jesus? What was the condition of your heart and mind? Selah. (Stop and ponder these things.)

The Psalm continues by describing how Jesus set our feet on a firm foundation - one that’s steady and dependable. Put into words what God’s assurance has done for you. What does your daily walk with Jesus look like? Selah.

Jesus has brought you new life, the old is gone and the new has come. With this new life comes a new song. Every word you say as His new creation is heard as a beautiful song. When you tell your family and friends all Jesus has done for you, it builds their faith and trust in Him. Think back to a time when this happened in your life. What story did you tell, to whom, and how did their life grow closer to God? Selah.

On this very first day of 2025 and as you begin your 40 Day Journey, are you able to see and believe in your beauty? If not, pray to the Lord. This Psalm begins by describing God’s faithfulness. He WILL listen and hear your cry. Selah.

We owe everything, including our beauty, to Jesus. Let’s praise the One who is worthy of our heart, soul, and devotion.

Day Of Preparation

Path to New Life

Good Morning Beauties!

“And he who was seated on the throne said, ‘Behold, I am making all things new.’ Also he said, ‘Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.’” Revelation 21:5 (ESV) We have this promise from God to hold on to as we begin a new year. A year full of uncertainty, yet one we can enter into with wonder, excitement, and exhilaration.

Welcome to the 2025 New Year 40 Day Journey. I’m thrilled you’re joining me and other women from all over the world to deepen our relationship with Jesus as we know Him more. We will also understand who we are, our true identity in Christ, throughout the process, because how can we possibly navigate through this world without knowing who we really are? Without knowing the Truth, the enemy will continue to fill our minds with lies. Our belief in these lies only leads to our destruction. God desperately wants you to know the Truth about who you are and who He created you to be which will lead to a life of love, joy, peace, and purpose. A life of fulfillment. A life He died to give you.

This journey is also unique to each participant, just as you are unique. We will travel together and yet have individual experiences with God. The journey will provide different things for different people. One thing is for sure; if you commit to spending 40 consecutive days with God, you will be changed. 40 Days is significant in the Bible - it brings testing, trial, temptation, and transformation. Are you all in? Selah.

The scripture God gave me while impressing on my heart to begin this women’s journal and ministry is John 10:10, “The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows].” (AMP)

Have you ever noticed, that in any great adventure story, there is a fight between good and evil, the “good guy” and the “bad guy”? Beauties, the battle is real! The battle raging in the spiritual realm is very real. We fight it everyday whether we’re aware of it or not. In this journey, you will be on the offensive attack against the enemy, taking back ground he has stolen from you. It’s a fight. Are you ready? Selah.

Though you are waging war, you must not fear, but instead rise up in confidence. God is right by your side. You can trust Him. In the Bible, He promises, “But the Lord is faithful; He will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one.” Thessalonians 3:3 (NLT) God has so much for you, far exceeding any expectation you have, so turn your fear into faith.

As you can see, this journey is significant, and with anything of great importance, we must approach it with meaningful intentionality. We must carefully prepare for our journey. God will do His part, and we must be faithful to do ours too.

What are your expectations for your journey experience? What exactly do you need God to do? What are you willing to do? Grab your journal and find a place you will return to often. Write down your expectations and what you’re willing to commit to in order to help meet your expectations. Include your prayer of what you need from God. Selah.

In this battle, there will be many road blocks thrown in your way. Overcoming obstacles begins with knowing what they are, then creating a plan of action to defeat them. A common roadblock is time. Write down any obstacles you anticipate being a problem, and then create an action plan to ensure they don’t interfere with your journey. The enemy will try everything in his power to stop you from silencing his lies on your journey, so you have to be prepared. Selah.

The last thing, but vital to the success of your journey is to find your motivation. Why are you taking this journey? When the enemy is pressing in and making it difficult for you to keep going, how will you continue to put on your armor and keep fighting? If you don’t see the results you were expecting by Day 20, what will keep you on the journey? Please write down your “WHY” and refer to it often. Selah.

Please feel free to use this blog as you want. Some meet me here daily, some as needed, and some not at all. Each is fine. I’m here to encourage and share revelations from my own journey. If you ever want to reach out for a conversation, please use the “let’s connect” page on this website.

Now that you’ve written down your expectations, obstacles with action plans, and your motivation, it’s time to go before the Lord in prayer and petition with a thankful heart.

Dear LordJesus, we are so grateful you’ve brought us here to meet with you. We pray you will use this journey to transform us. Jesus, we know you have the power to help us identify the lies of the enemy and to replace them with your truth so we can walk in freedom. Jesus, we pray for open and willing hearts and minds that will be ready for anything you reveal to us. We look forward to the transformation you have prepared for us, and are excited as we trust in you. Jesus, we pray you help us stay the course when it gets difficult. We understand this journey is a battle, so we pray for protection and that you remind us to put on the full armor of God found in Ephesians 6 each time we sit down to journal. We look forward in faithful expectation to the newness of life you have promised. In Jesus’ Holy and all powerful name, Amen.

Day Of Reflection

I Am Beautiful and Free

Good Morning Beauties!

Thank you for meeting me here for one more day to reflect on the entire 40 Day Journey. I’ve found it important to look back at where we began and take inventory of all the lies God has replaced with His truth.

If you look at Day 1 and your idea of beauty, how did you define it back then? How do you describe it now? Can you see growth? Selah.

The revelation I had on my first journey experience is that all true beauty is Jesus Himself, and when we know Him and walk with Him, His beauty radiates from us, in physical expression and in action. Just as Jesus is Love, He is also Beauty.

Spend time reflecting on the other seven attributes: Lovely, Joyful, Royalty, Righteous, Redeemed, Purity, Child of God. Are you able to go down the list and summarize the lies that bound you and the freedom God has given you in each of these areas? Perhaps He did a mighty work in a few or even just one….but isn’t that victory something to celebrate?! Selah.

Let’s look at God’s Word this morning to put a beautiful bow on our journey. I love how the Message Bible describes placing our lives before God, “So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.” Romans 12:1-2 (MSG)

In what areas of your life can you say God has set you free as you walked with Him during your journey? Are there defining moments you can pinpoint? Were you truly able to prioritize Jesus this Christmas and release the stress and anxiety of the busy season? Selah.

Beauties, it has been an absolute privilege and joy to walk with you on this journey. I pray you will hold dear the truths and freedom you’ve been given by our precious Savior. Your journey doesn’t stop here, of course, but I pray you have found a closeness with Jesus, and a passionate desire to spend time with Him daily and treasure your relationship.

I would love to hear from you about your experience. Please use the “Let’s Connect” section of the website to say hello, receive encouragement, or pray together.

Take time to worship Jesus with your heart and soul today. He deserves nothing less.

Day 40 "And You Are Beautiful"

You Are God’s Beautiful Gift

Merry Christmas Beauties!

I pray you’re having a glorious time with family and friends in reflection of Christ’s birth and the magnificent gift He is to all of us. Thank you for stepping away from the festivities to join me here on our journey..

There’s so much to celebrate today, the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and your completion of the 40 Day Journey. Congratulations! You did it! You persevered when it was hard to keep going, you overcame obstacles thrown at you by the enemy, you prioritized Jesus at one of the busiest times of the year. Bravo!!

The Bible says, “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights” James 1:17 (NLT). As much as Jesus is our gift, He wants you to know that you are His gift. He delights in you, sings over you, and is in constant prayer for you. You are His BEAUTIFUL gift! Do you see yourself this way? Or do you see yourself as a disappointment to God? Or somewhere in between? Selah.

There is freedom in knowing the truth about who we are in Christ, and how much God really loves us. He is for us not against us. We have His favor and mercy not His condemnation. He wants to bless us not punish us. On this majestic day, will you accept the gift of God’s love and the gift of His Son? I’m talking about the gift that transforms you and gives you a brand new life. Selah.

Today is NOT the last day of the journey experience. Please join me here tomorrow for our Day of Reflection, where we’ll put together the entire 40 Day Journey. Reflecting on your experience is just as important as the Day Of Preparation, you won’t want to miss it

As you celebrate the coming of our glorious King today, here’s a special song to bless you.

Day 39 "You Are A Child Of God"

He Is Here

Good Morning Beauties!

“So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart. The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told.” Luke 2:16-20 (NIV)

Merry Christmas Eve Day! I’ve come to realize I love this day even more than Christmas Day. All of our anticipation of the Christ Child’s arrival happens tonight. Choirs of Angels sing praises to Jesus tonight. Families gather and attend church services and light candles tonight. The reverence, the joy, the absolute BEAUTY of Christmas Eve is like none other.

As you celebrate the birth of Jesus, are you also able to celebrate you? When you were born, the angels in heaven joined The Father in praise for His glorious work….you. The Bible says, “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” Psalm 139:14 (NIV) Do you believe this truth? What prevents you from celebrating the masterpiece God created? Selah.

Let’s look at more truth. “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” Ephesians 2:10 (NLT) Take time to think about this truth and write down how your life is a masterpiece. Be specific, and then thank God for creating you, His child. Selah.

I’m excited to share my very favorite Christmas song with you today. It speaks of our anticipation for the coming Savior and our praises to our King. Let your song reach His ears as you worship Jesus on this very special day.

Day 38 "Treasured By Our Lord"

Chosen as His Treasure

Good Morning Beauties!

“The Lord your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession.” Deuteronomy 7:6 (NIV)

Today’s lyric will always hold a special place in my heart. On my very first journey experience, God used the truth of my worth and value to Him to heal a deep wound. As I previously mentioned, He also gave me a new name, “Segullah,” which means Treasured Possession in Hebrew.

When you read the scripture, what part touches your heart? What do you think? What do you feel? For me, I love the part that says, “The Lord your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth…” God is Almighty and yet so very personal for His children.

Do you feel chosen? Special? Cherished? Are you able to receive this truth through His love for you? Selah.

As we prepare for the Christmas celebration in only 2 more days, it’s easy for us to get distracted with all the final preparations, but I pray you will lean in to Jesus. I pray you keep focused on your heart’s desire to know more of Him, know more of your true self, and to build intimacy in your relationship.

Day 37 "Beloved and So Adored"

God’s Love For Us

Happy Lord’s Day Beauties!

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16 (NIV)

Today we light the last of the Advent candles, and by no coincidence, “the fourth candle represents Love, the ultimate love of God that He might send His only Son for us. Called the “Angel's Candle,” the fourth candle of Advent is lit the Sunday before Christmas, and it is the color purple, leading us to eagerly await the new Kingdom of God on earth.” ~ Hallow.com

I’m sure you’ve heard the phrase, “Jesus loves you,” a million times. I did. From the time I was very small, attending catechism, I heard those words. It wasn’t until I was 35 when God opened by heart for me to grasp the revelation of His love.

How about you? Do you know His love? Has your heart been set free and made alive by the power of His love? Do you have a hard time trusting God’s love? Trusting it’s real and unconditional? Selah.

The number of Bible verses which prove God’s love for us is enormous! I pray you will give God this day and you will open your Bible to find His overwhelming love for you. I also Pray He will bring you joy and peace as you meditate on the Father’s love. May you have an even deeper revelation of His love today.

Here’s a beautiful collection of songs with scripture - truths - about God’s love for you.

Day 36 "You Are A Child of God"

Freedom from Abba Father

Good Morning Beauties!

“For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live. For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. “ Romans 8:13-14 (NIV)

Our song and journey crescendos at this last truth, the most important truth about your identity. YOU ARE A CHILD OF GOD. When you repent and turn your back on sinful ways of the flesh and choose to live by the Spirit, you become His precious child.

What does it mean to you to be God’s Child? How has your adoption into God’s family changed your life? How would you describe life before and after your adoption? Selah.

We have been set free from fear - we are no longer slaves. What fear has your Abba Father released you from? Are there any linger fears you can lay in the hands of your Father today? Selah..

Let’s praise God for our beautiful title “Child of God” and for the our freedom we’ve found in Christ.

Day 35 "And You Are Beautiful"

Beauty of His Name

Good Morning Beauties!

What’s in a name? Everything.

“Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God. You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over Jacob’s descendants forever; his kingdom will never end.” Luke 1 30-33 (NIV)

So, I’ll ask again, “what’s in a name?” Names were very important in the Bible, and I believe they are still very important to God. Let’s take a look at what the Bible says…

Names demonstrate authority - In the Bible, naming is associated with authority, as when God gave Adam the name Adam and tasked him with naming everything he created.

Names reveal intimacy - Naming can also reveal intimacy, as when Hagar named God "the one who sees me" after he rescued her in the wilderness.

Names are important - Names are important because they shape our identity.

Names have meaning - God gives people names that speak to who they will become. For example, Jesus' name means "savior" and Immanuel's name means "God with us".

Names are a proxy for keeping God's Law - A good name is better than riches because riches don't impress God, who loves those who fear him and walk before him.

Names are important in salvation - In the Bible, salvation is associated with names, as in Romans 10:13, which says, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved".

Names are important in resurrection - In Revelation 2:17, the Bible says that those who conquer will receive a new name written on a white stone.

Names are important in adoption - In Ephesians 1:5, the Bible says that God planned to adopt people as sons and daughters through Jesus Christ.

My name has a history. I was first given the name Kimberley, but on my third day, I was renamed Kendra. I’ve enjoyed my name mostly because it’s uncommon where I’ve always lived. There was never two Kendras in any of my classes. In Welsh, "Kendra" is most closely associated with the meaning "greatest champion," "royal power," or "chief hero.” What’s not to love?

A few years ago, during my very first 40 Day Journey, God gave me a new name, Segullah. This name is very special to me and is Hebrew for “treasured possession.” The Lord knows me intimately, and knew what name would mean the most to me.

What about your name? What’s the history of how you were given your name? What does it mean? Our names are the most personal thing we have - do you like yours? Do you want God to give you a new name? Selah.

Day 34 "You Are Purity"

Beautiful Covering

Good Morning Beauties!

“Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins.” 1 Peter 4:8

It’s a Winter day, here in Minnesota. A blanket of white covers the dead tree limbs and dried up grass. There’s something so special about how this covering from God makes everything brand new. Much like the love of Jesus, He covers our sins and makes us clean, fresh and pure.

Is there anything outside of God’s covering? Is there a stain too dark His blanket of love can’t touch? Let His amazing grace and love penetrate even those really hard places. Selah.

Each unique and precious snowflake is carried by the wind and lands where it was created until it eventually melts. We too are carried by God’s love, following the Holy Spirit to our destination until we reach our eternal home in heaven. Worship Him now, and allow His love to carry you this day.

Day 33 "Perfect In His Sight"

Joyful Perfection

Good Morning Beauties!

“For by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy.” Hebrews 10:14 (NIV)

No more trying to be perfect! Jesus has already made a way for your perfection to shine through to the Father. You can find freedom in this truth, the question is, will you accept it and live it out? What is holding you back? Someone’s expectations of you? (Real or perceived) Who’s opinion of you could possibly matter more than God’s? Selah.

There is amazing JOY found in this truth, which so happens to be the theme for this third week of Advent. Unspeakable joy with the knowledge of how the Father sees us and at the truth of His Kingdom coming to Earth. Hallelujah!

One more week before Christmas. How are you doing? Have you noticed a rise in your stress level with each approaching day? How will you ensure these last 7 days are focused on your beautiful Savior? Selah.

Day 32 "Darkness Turned To Light"

The Light Has Come

Good Morning Beauties!

“Eternal life is in him, and this life gives light to all mankind. His life is the light that shines through the darkness—and the darkness can never extinguish it.” John 1:4-5 (TLB)

Everyday we hear about more darkness and evil in the world, but take heart Beauties, Jesus has overcome it. His light shines even brighter and transforms the drakness. He takes broken and shattered people and brings His glorious light and life to them - changing them forever. Are you one of these lives He’s transformed? What was it like to live in the darkness? Do you remember all He’s rescued you from? In this season when hurting people are needing hope, what part of your testimony will you share? Selah.

Thank you, Lord Jesus, for bringing us out of the darkness and into Your glorious light. You have truly turned our mourning into dancing and given us a spirit of praise. Hallelujah! We give you all the honor and all the glory as we worship you today.

Day 31 "You Are Purity"

Holy in His Presence

Good Morning Beauties!

PURITY - Freedom from anything that debases, contaminates, or pollutes. In the Bible we see words like innocent, childlike, unblemished, free from guilt and shame.

“But Christ has brought you back to God by His death on the cross. In this way, Christ can bring you to God, holy and pure and without blame.” Colossians 1:22 (NLV)

We’ve looked at this verse with a focus on reconciliation, today, let’s focus on how we’re presented to God in our purity. What’s the first thing you think when you consider today’s truth, “you are purity”? Do you say, “no way, I’ve done way too much to be pure.” Or does it sound more like, “I’m trying to be pure, but everyday, I still sin”? Selah.

Jesus has already provided your purity by what HE has done. It could never be dependent on anything you could ever possibly do. Are you willing to release any guilt or shame to Jesus once and for all and know how he really sees you - blameless, spotless, pure? Selah.

Jesus was born a pure baby, grew up a sinless boy, ministered as a perfect man. When you think of Christmas, remember His perfection was given to you as a gift of His sacrifice on the cross. When you view a manger scene this Christmas, when you look at Baby Jesus in the manger, when you think of his innocence, realize the Father looks at you in the same way. Selah.

Jesus has made a way for you to enter the Holy of Holies, His very presence. Approach His throne with humility and reverence.

Day 30 "And You Are Beautiful"

Fervent Prayer

Happy Lord’s Day Beauties!

You are still here, faithful to your journey with Jesus. How is it you are still here when many have already fallen away? You are determined to grow closer in your relationship to Him, and you persevere to ensure you receive all God has for you.

“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.” Matthew 7:13-14 NIV

You have chosen the narrow gate, and that, my dear friend, is BEAUTIFUL!

As we begin the final 10 days tomorrow, I ask you to pray wholeheartedly for deep revelation from God. I ask you pray for God to remove any and all obstacles distracting you from having the absolute best experience with Him. I ask you to pray to remain devoted to your journey.

God will answer your prayers. “I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours..”

Day 29 "You Are Redeemed"

My Redeemer Lives

Good Morning Beauties!

“Yet now he has reconciled you to himself through the death of Christ in his physical body. As a result, he has brought you into his own presence, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before him without a single fault.” Colossians 1:22 (NLT)

Yesterday was hard. It was painful to watch our precious Jesus humiliated, tortured, and murdered - all to pay the debt we owed so we can be reconciled to the Father for eternity. The curtain was torn, and now we stand in the very presence of God, in the Holy of Holies, a sacred place once restricted to only the High Priest. Jesus has made a way for us to stand before God holy and blameless. There is absolutely nothing more you can do - it’s been done. The perfect work has been done by Jesus. Are you able to grasp this truth? What’s standing in the way of you believing? Selah

Beauties, i don’t know about you, but I need to spend more time today going back the past few days and allowing the Spirit to uncover anything that may be hindering my complete belief in the truth of my redemption. Let Him uncover any last bit of doubt and lies from the enemy. Selah.

As we draw closer to Christmas, let’s draw closer to Jesus and celebrate His life - alive in us! Our Redeemer surely lives!

Day 28 "For You The Savior Died"

Born to Die

Good Morning Beauties!

Today’s lyric is truth - Jesus died for you. And another truth, it is difficult to look at. From yesterday, we know WHAT Jesus did for us - He died for our sins. He became the sacrificial lamb for us. Today we will look at HOW He died for us. What Jesus went through to save us. It won’t be easy.

Scripture describes the passion of Christ in Isaiah 53:1-9.

“But, oh, how few believe it! Who will listen? To whom will God reveal his saving power?  In God’s eyes he was like a tender green shoot, sprouting from a root in dry and sterile ground. But in our eyes there was no attractiveness at all, nothing to make us want him.  We despised him and rejected him—a man of sorrows, acquainted with bitterest grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way when he went by. He was despised, and we didn’t care.

Yet it was our grief he bore, our sorrows that weighed him down. And we thought his troubles were a punishment from God, for his own sins! But he was wounded and bruised for our sins. He was beaten that we might have peace; he was lashed—and we were healed! We—every one of us—have strayed away like sheep! We, who left God’s paths to follow our own. Yet God laid on him the guilt and sins of every one of us!

He was oppressed and he was afflicted, yet he never said a word. He was brought as a lamb to the slaughter; and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he stood silent before the ones condemning him.  From prison and trial they led him away to his death. But who among the people of that day realized it was their sins that he was dying for—that he was suffering their punishment?  He was buried like a criminal, but in a rich man’s grave; but he had done no wrong and had never spoken an evil word.”

On this day, Day 28, of every journey, I share a special video. A very meaningful song plays over graphic scenes from the movies, Jesus of Nazareth and The Passion of the Christ. It is extremely difficult to watch, but I ask you to watch anyway. The Truth about what Jesus endured for you, for me, for everyone, is not to be missed or ignored. I pray you will be changed by viewing and better understanding the Love God has for you.

Christ suffered for our sins once for all time. He never sinned, but he died for sinners to bring you safely home to God. He suffered physical death, but he was raised to life in the Spirit.

Day 27 "The Lamb Was Crucified"

Worthy Is The Lamb

Good Morning Beauties!

Your life is a journey you must travel with a deep consciousness of God. It cost God plenty to get you out of that dead-end, empty-headed life you grew up in. He paid with Christ’s sacred blood, you know. He died like an unblemished, sacrificial lamb. And this was no afterthought. Even though it has only lately—at the end of the ages—become public knowledge, God always knew he was going to do this for you. It’s because of this sacrificed Messiah, whom God then raised from the dead and glorified, that you trust God, that you know you have a future in God.” 1 Peter 1:18-21 (MSG)

The pure, unblemished, innocent Son of God, became the sacrificial lamb to atone for our sins - while we were still sinners, (Romans 5:8). To give you life, Jesus died. You are forgiven, Jesus was forsaken. You are accepted, Jesus was condemned. The Ultimate gift of all gifts - eternal life and freedom in Christ. How have the enemy’s lies kept you from this truth? Are you ready to accept this truth today? What do you need from Jesus? Selah.

The beautiful Christ child, the baby born in a manger, came to die for our sins. That was His purpose. As we anticipate the celebration of Christmas, the first coming of the Son, let’s also celebrate the reason He was born. Let’s look beyond the manger to the cross, and humble ourselves in gratitude.

We read in Revelation that all creation will sing in one voice to praise our victorious King Jesus. As you worship Him today with this song, close your eyes and imagine all the beautiful voices are what you will hear one day as you gather around His throne.

In a loud voice they were saying: ‘Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!’

Day 26 "You Are Redeemed"

God’s Perfect Gift

Good Morning Beauties

Our next truth is so important to fully understand. You have been REDEEMED. Jesus paid your ransom, there is nothing you owe, your debt has been erased.

“In Him we have redemption [that is, our deliverance and salvation] through His blood, [which paid the penalty for our sin and resulted in] the forgiveness and complete pardon of our sin, in accordance with the riches of His grace which He lavished on us.” Ephesians 1:7-10 (AMP)

Especially at Christmastime, when we’re thinking about the perfect gift to give to a loved one, let’s take a moment to focus on the perfect gift from Jesus. Our redemption. Jesus paid our debt with His precious blood. We read this truth in Romans 6:23, "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Perfect Jesus paid for your imperfection. Do you fully understand the condition humanity was in before Jesus died on the cross? Let’s make it more personal; do you fully understand the condition you were in before Jesus died on the cross for your sins? What do you think about what he’s done for you? Is it hard to believe He would pay your debt with his very life? What stands in the way of accepting this truth? Listen closely to what the Spirit wants you to know about your redemption. Selah.

Hallelujah! We are redeemed! We are saved by the amazing grace of Jesus and set free from the death sentence of sin. Give glory and honor to our Lord and Savior!

For he has rescued us out of the darkness and gloom of Satan’s kingdom and brought us into the Kingdom of his dear Son, who bought our freedom with his blood and forgave us all our sins.

Day 25 "And You Are Beautiful"

Beautiful Choices

Good Morning Beauties!

“If God gives such attention to the appearance of wildflowers—most of which are never even seen—don’t you think he’ll attend to you, take pride in you, do his best for you? What I’m trying to do here is to get you to relax, to not be so preoccupied with getting, so you can respond to God’s giving. People who don’t know God and the way he works fuss over these things, but you know both God and how he works. Steep your life in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions. Don’t worry about missing out. You’ll find all your everyday human concerns will be met.” Matthew 6:30-33 (MSG)

There’s so much truth and wisdom in this passage, and I particularly like the way it’s written in the Message Bible. It speaks of God’s love for us, His care for us, and the priority of being at peace as He will always provide for all our needs.

Read through the passage again. What first stands out to you? What message do you receive about your worth and value? How is God showing you how to be at peace? Selah.

As we grow closer to Christmas, how are you growing closer to Jesus? What decisions have you made to prioritize Him over holiday traditions? Selah.

People are watching and witnessing your beauty. When you say “no” to an activity and explain it’s because you’re spending time with Jesus - people see your beauty. You have a chance to inspire others to find rest in Jesus during this busy season. You have a chance to share your choice to choose Jesus above all things.
