Day 24 "You Are Righteous"

Peace of the Righteous

Good Morning Beauties!

“Justice will rule in the wilderness and righteousness in the fertile field. And this righteousness will bring peace. Yes, it will bring quietness and confidence forever.”
Isaiah 32:16-17 (NLT)

The second week of Advent has us focus on peace, and I love how righteousness brings peace. Look at what Paul writes in Romans…

“For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, because anyone who serves Christ in this way is pleasing to God and receives human approval. Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification.”
Romans 14:17-19 (NIV)

How has the righteousness of Jesus brought you peace? If you aren’t living a life of peace, what do you still need to believe about your righteousness? Do you need the Holy Spirit to reveal something new today? Just ask Him. Selah

Day 23 "Forgiven, Justified"

Washed Clean with Forgiveness

Happy Lord’s Day Beauties!

“ If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9 (ESV)

This verse presents a simple if-then statement. First comes the condition, then the result. The condition is our choice to confess. The result comes next, and it is forgiveness. Who does the forgiving? God Himself. God is faithful and just (or righteous); and on this basis, we are assured that He will continue to fulfill His promise to receive all who come to Him.

God’s forgiveness doesn’t depend on whether we have mentioned to God our latest sinful act. Rather, our confession is a habit or discipline that is a part of having fellowship with God and walking in the light. Despite our lack of obedience, He is always faithful to us. Have you made confession a part of your daily life? Is it a discipline you take sereiously? What have been the results of your level of confession? Selah.

The verse doesn’t stop there, so let’s look at the second part. There is another result of this continual confession, and it is cleansing. John is equally adamant that, based on God’s faithfulness and righteousness, we can expect His forgiveness and cleansing. Please make note, what is being forgiven is “our sins,” but that which we are cleansed from is “all unrighteousness.” John went on to explain later in his letter that God is righteous, and all who know Him walk in righteousness; unrighteousness is all that is unlike God. This result — being cleansed from all that is unlike God — is based on confessing our sins. What sins need confessing today? Pray the Holy Spirit reveals sin that you may not even be aware of so you can bring it to the Lord in confession. Selah.

This amazing, powerful promise leaves me with this truth: if I find that I am not being cleansed from unrighteousness, there is something wrong with my confessing. Selah.

Day 22 "Saved and Sanctified"

Jesus Saves

Good Morning Beauties!

Beauties, today I want to focus on our salvation instead of sanctification, because it’s burning in my heart for complete understanding of truth. The enemy will try to convince you of a lie, so please be in prayer with Jesus and ask Him to reveal even more truth to you today.

Salvation - it’s a big deal for us to get this right, to know exactly what the Bible says as the ultimate source of truth. “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9 (ESV)

Beauties, you absolutely can not earn your salvation. Please understand, it has nothing to do with you, but everything to do with what Jesus has already done for you when he died on the cross, rose again after three days in the tomb, and ascended into Heaven. Do you believe you are saved? Selah.

“Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’” John 14:6 (ESV)

Here’s another very important truth we must understand - Jesus is the ONLY way to the Father, the Bible is very clear. I know it may appear ridiculous in light of all the other religions that exist in the world, but read the scripture verse again. The is no other way. Some may say it’s unkind to tell a person of a different religion their way is wrong, but isn’t it detestable to think we’d allow them to go to hell in order to spare their feelings? Selah.

Today is the last day of the first Advent week of “Hope".” Let’s lean in to the hope Jesus brings to a world desperate for it. You are here on this Earth right now to bring hope to those around you. Are you ready? Selah.

Day 21 "You Are Righteous"

Receive His Righteousness

Good Morning Beauties!

Welcome to the second half of our journey and the truth of our RIGHTEOUSNESS. I think this truth is the one we struggle with the most. Why? Because we’re still trying to earn God’s forgiveness. We’re still trying to be good enough to get into Heaven. We’re still trying to be accepted by Jesus by keeping every law and command. Beauties, this is not what God intended, so He sent His one and only son, Jesus, to give us the gift of righteousness.

Let’s take a look at what the Bible says in Romans. “Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin.” Romans 3:20 (NIV) The law was created so we will fully realize we can never keep it; therefore, it helps us come to the knowledge we need a Savior.

“But now apart from the law the righteousness of God has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe.” Romans 3:21-22(a) (NIV)

Beauties, here is the answer, we simply must receive the gift of righteousness through faith in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. There’s no more running around trying to do enough good things, be good enough, or please enough people. No, it’s none of that. It’s believing that God sent Jesus as a precious baby, born in a manger, who would eventually die on a cross for our sins, rise on the third day after burial, and ascend into Heaven to be seated at the right hand of the Father.

Do you believe you are righteous? The way you are, not being better than right now? Do you believe you simply have to receive your gift of righteousness? Selah.

Are you ready to stop in your tracks and assess all the ways you are still trying to be good enough, do enough, please God and others? Write down these ways Jesus reveals to you and ask Him to help you let them go…forever. Selah.

Time to praise Jesus for all He’s done and continues to do so we can be free from the law of sin and death. Hallelujah!!

Day 20 "And You Are Beautiful"

What Do You See?

Good Morning Beauties!

Today we are half way through our journeys, so it’s a good time to assess our progress. First though, let’s celebrate that we’ve made it this far and our love, dedication, and devotion to Jesus are growing. Congratulations!! Please give yourself credit for this accomplishment. It’s a big deal.

The Bible uses metaphors of running to convey spiritual and moral lessons. In the Bible, the race of life is a long-distance run, and the goal is to finish well. In a race, the runner is infused with confidence as she knows she’s conquoered more of the race than what is left. This boost of confidence brings even more motivation to finish strong. How is your motivation right now? As the Lord is revealing more truth, do you have a greater motivation to finish your journey strong? Selah.

By now, you’re most likely well aware of the enemy’s schemes and how he wants to destroy any progress you’ve made. How are your action plans working to combat the enemy and keep you on track? Do they need to be tweaked or do they need a complete overhaul? Selah.

Lastly, is the journey experience what you expected? If it has surpassed your desires, thank the Lord. If it has underwhelmed you, pray and ask Jesus why that is. We know that He desires more and more intimacy with us, we know that He brings revelation and truth, we know He wants you to know your true identity so you can live the abundant life. Is there something different you can be doing? If you need Him to do more, have you asked Him? Have you prayed to Jesus for more revelation on a deeper level? Now is your time. Selah.

I invite you to look into a mirror and answer the simple question, “what do you see.” You may want to listen to our theme song as you look. Selah.

Day 19 "You Are Royalty"

Beautiful Family of God

Good Morning Beauties!

“Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine.” Isaiah 43:1 (NLT)
Can you think of anything better than having Jesus call you His own? Take a second and hear the voice of Jesus call your name. What happens in your mind and in your heart? How do you feel knowing you truly belong to Jesus and His family? Selah

Humanity was always created to be in intimate proximity to God. It's in that relationship that we know how to love one another (1 John 4:19). As the world will know that we are His disciples by our love for one another (John 13:35). This attitude of love is the essence of true belonging.

I realize this time of year can be very difficult for some of you. Loneliness and depression may over take joy and peace; I understand. Beauties, please know you have a Royal Family in which you belong. You have been called to be an important part of this perfectly designed group of people…God’s Children.

I pray all of us will come to know how much Jesus loves us and that He’s placed us in His Family. We belong. You belong. Thank you Jesus!!

Day 18 "Heaven's Glow From You Abounds"

Heaven’s Glow

Good Morning Beauties!

“You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill can’t be hidden.  People don’t light a lamp and put it under a basket but on a lamp stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. in the same way, let your light shine before people in such a way that they will see your good actions and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16 (NIV)

Heaven’s glow is Jesus’ light shining through us so the world may see His glory. People are drawn to us because they see His love, light, and hope. People are drawn to Jesus living inside of us.

Are you familiar with the expression, “I can see the light at the end of the tunnel”? This saying refers to a person finding hope in that light when they are surrounded by darkness. The smallest glimmer of light brings massive hope to a desperate person. Have you been this person? How has His light given you hope? What are some examples of these times? Selah.

I love advent - the anticipation of Jesus’ arrival. This first week of advent, we light a purple candle of hope. It is no coincidence that we are reflecting today on the truth that the light of the world dwells inside of us. With this truth comes responsibility to illuminate this dark world with the light of Jesus and bring hope to the hopeless. Are you up for this challenge? Are you through your tunnel and radiating His hope to others? What lies are the enemy using to dim your bright light? Pray these strongholds are revealed and replaced with the love and truth of Jesus. Selah.

Here’s a great anthem to glorify God and declare your purpose. Shine on Beauties!

Day 17 "You Wear The Victor's Crown"

Victor’s Crown of Christ

Good Morning Beauties!

“The victor’s crown of righteousness is now waiting for me, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on the day that he comes, and not only to me but also to all who eagerly wait for his appearing.”
2 Timothy 4:8-10

Paul understood his identity in Christ. He knew he would suffer with Christ and also receive his reward - the Victor’s Crown. Paul also knew he shared the victory with those who also follow Christ.

In my reading about our victory in Christ, I came across this statement which I thought was very good. “You have been given royal authority. As a member of God’s royal family, you have been given all of the rights and responsibilities that come with such a position. And since Jesus defeated the enemy at the cross, you also share in His victory. Jesus, the victorious King of kings, gave us authority as His followers.”

Are you living a victorious life? What does that even look like for you? Are you willing to suffer with Christ to gain the prize of the Victor’s Crown? Selah.

Day 16 "You Are Royalty"

Beauty of Royal Status

Happy Lord’s Day Beauties!

WOW! What a day it’s been. The Lord has had a grip on me for hours, watching sermons, worshipping Him, interceding in prayer. It’s been wonderful! (Thanks for waiting for me - all you who read the blog in the morning. )

Today we’re starting our next truth, You Are Royalty. What does the word, ROYALTY, mean to you? How do you define it? What does it mean to be royal? How do you grasp the truth that you’re part of God’s Royal Family? Selah.

You have been born again into a royal family. In life, royalty is usually the result of a family relationship… either by blood relationship or by marriage. The same is true in the family of God. The Bible describes our salvation by declaring that we are “born again.” We are literally born of the Spirit at the moment we are saved. But the Bible also refers to us as the bride of Christ. It is through these relationships (a family bloodline as well as marriage) that we are royalty.

Do you find this hard to believe!? Is your Earthly bloodline standing in the way of who you are in Christ? Have you truly accepted the new life Christ died to give you? Selah.

Let’s make us this our statement of TRUTH today as we worship our Abba Father as His Royal Daughters.

Day 15 "And You Are Beautiful"

Reflection of His Beauty

Good Morning Beauties!

“God made the heavens— Royal splendor radiates from him. A powerful beauty sets him apart.”
Psalm 96:6 (MSG)

As you reflect again today on your own beauty, pay special attention to how it intertwines with the beauty of Jesus. How has your opinion of your beauty changed from Day 1? How has your knowledge of Jesus’ beauty grown? Do you think differently about Him in regards to His divine beauty? What are the similarities in Jesus’ beauty and your own? Make a list and write thoughts and feelings that come to you. Selah.

I realize today is a big shopping day here in America, and yet you chose to prioritize your time with Jesus. You won’t regret it. You’re dedication and devotion to Jesus and knowing truth is inspiring and life changing. Bravo!!

Day 14 "You Are Joyful"

Joyful Praise

Good Morning Beauties!

“If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.” John 15:10-11 (NIV)

Jesus loves us so much, He gives us the recipe for our Joy - to keep His commands. His instruction did not say to follow the law and earn your joy, but to follow Him (His commands.) When we know Jesus, that’s all we want to do! No longer bound by trying to follow the law perfectly, we are free to love and to follow Jesus. We trust Him and know He wants only the best for us, so of course we will follow wherever He leads.

Joy, beautiful joy, overflows from our souls when we experience our freedom in Christ. Is there anything causing your joy to trickle instead of pouring out of you? Are you feeling weighed down by any particular burden? Is the stress and anxiety of the season too much for you? He cares so much about you and wants to heal any brokenness, bring peace to anxiety, remove your burdens. Will you come before the Lord today and lay down everything that’s preventing His abundant joy from flourishing in your life? Selah.

If you’ve been on a previous journey, this song may be familiar to you. It’s been included on Day 14 several times because the joy of the lyric, music, and especially the countenance of the worshippers as they sing and dance in the streets is a perfect picture of rejoicing in the Lord. Enjoy your time of praising Jesus today.

Day 13 "Grace Has Brought You Peace"

A Recipe For Peace

Good Morning Beauties!

Happy Thanksgiving to our American Beauties on this journey. It’s a beautiful day to celebrate our gratitude to Jesus for all He’s done, mostly though, for who He is.

The Bible describes grace (God’s unearned favor) perfectly in Ephesians 2:1-10. This amazing grace we’ve been given surely puts all our striving away and allows us to live a life of peace. No more trying to be perfect, to please others, to be good enough to earn our salvation - we can accept God’s grace by our faith in Jesus and be at peace with Him and ourselves. Hallelujah!!

“It wasn’t so long ago that you were mired in that old stagnant life of sin. You let the world, which doesn’t know the first thing about living, tell you how to live. You filled your lungs with polluted unbelief, and then exhaled disobedience. We all did it, all of us doing what we felt like doing, when we felt like doing it, all of us in the same boat. It’s a wonder God didn’t lose his temper and do away with the whole lot of us. Instead, immense in mercy and with an incredible love, he embraced us. He took our sin-dead lives and made us alive in Christ. He did all this on his own, with no help from us! Then he picked us up and set us down in highest heaven in company with Jesus, our Messiah.

Now God has us where he wants us, with all the time in this world and the next to shower grace and kindness upon us in Christ Jesus. Saving is all his idea, and all his work. All we do is trust him enough to let him do it. It’s God’s gift from start to finish! We don’t play the major role. If we did, we’d probably go around bragging that we’d done the whole thing! No, we neither make nor save ourselves. God does both the making and saving. He creates each of us by Christ Jesus to join him in the work he does, the good work he has gotten ready for us to do, work we had better be doing.” Ephesians 2:1-10 The Message Bible

I pray you have a special day with your family and friends, and that you’ll start your day with praising our most worthy King Jesus, for who He is and for the amazing grace that brings you peace.

Day 12 "Your Spirit's Been Set Free"

Gift of Freedom

Good Morning Beauties!

“So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. And because you belong to him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death.  The law of Moses was unable to save us because of the weakness of our sinful nature. So God did what the law could not do. He sent his own Son in a body like the bodies we sinners have. And in that body God declared an end to sin’s control over us by giving his Son as a sacrifice for our sins.  He did this so that the just requirement of the law would be fully satisfied for us, who no longer follow our sinful nature but instead follow the Spirit.”
Romans 8:1-4 (NLT)

Ahhh, freedom! We are free from the wages of sin, of guilt, of shame. Jesus has paid for our sins- every single one. There’s nothing left to pay. Beauties, let go of the lie that says you still must pay the wages for your sins. If that were true, Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross was for nothing.

Let go of the lie and start believing the truth - you have been set FREE from the law, from having to earn your salvation. Your good works will never be enough, only Jesus, perfect Jesus, could conquer death and give you the gift of free and eternal life. Are you walking in the freedom Jesus gave you? Have you received this gift from Heaven? What makes it hard to believe? Selah.

Please pray during this beautiful worship song for God to reveal any hidden lies that are preventing you from living the abundant life He died to give you.

Day 11 "You Are Joyful"

The Beauty of a Joyful Heart

Good Morning Beauties!

“But the angel said to them, ‘Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.’” Luke 2:10 (NIV)

It’s a great time of year to know and believe our third truth, you are JOYFUL! Jesus is The Good News and the reason for our joy. His birth brought hope into the world, relief for suffering, and the promise of eternal life with God.

The joy that Christ gives cannot be taken away. Kings cannot remove it. Presidents cannot destroy it. Governments cannot annihilate it. It’s joy that is rooted in truth that there is one King who truly reigns. One King who has the world in His hands and one King whose agenda is not power for the sake of dominating, but power because He defends those He loves.

Are you experiencing this gift of joy? Is it an overflow from your heart, or more like a trickle? Are you aware of any deception from the enemy as he tries to steal your joy? Jesus wants to reveal truth and bring restoration. Will you let him shine a light on anything causing diminished joy in your heart? Selah.

As we grow closer to the day of Christ’s birth, let the joy of His arrival consume your mind and heart. Joyfully sing Him praises today and celebrate a little early.

Day 10 "And You Are Beautiful"

Beautiful. Joyful. Praise

Good Morning Beauties!

The Lord woke me up today with a song in my heart and dance in my step. Unlike most mornings when the first thing I grab is my coffee to get that first jolt of the day so I can wake up. Today is different. There’s a sense of newness in my spirit. Perhaps it’s from a couple of wonderful sermons I heard yesterday, or the reconnecting with my brothers and sisters in our Bible study last night, or possibly it’s that we’re starting a brand new week with one of my very favorite American holidays - Thanksgiving. Whatever the reason, I’m grateful to Jesus for energizing my soul this morning.

How are you feeling today? Are you singing and dancing or feeling the weight of the world, or somewhere in between? Stop, breathe, and take account of what’s happening in your mind and body. Selah

On Day 10, I recommend you reflect on how your journey experience is going. Is this journey what you thought it was going to be? Are your expectations being met? Is God showing up the way you thought He would? Are you putting in the work even when it’s hard? What about the obstacles? Are your action plans working? Are you keeping the enemy at bay? Lastly, are you still motivated to continue the journey for the initial reasons you heard Jesus give you? Have you discovered new reasons to take the journey? Please take time to read what you wrote in your journal on the Day of Preparation and reflect on your journey. Selah.

One thing we’re focusing on in this particular journey is making an intentional decision to prioritize Jesus this Christmas season instead of getting caught up in the busyness of a commercialized holiday. How is it going? Are you feeling the stress of shopping to find the perfect gifts, finding room in your schedule for all the holiday parties, deciding what to wear to all the events, traveling to see family, getting the house ready to host family and friends? OR are you dedicating your time to Jesus by spending quality time with Him each day, building your relationship with Him, allowing Him to reveal your true identity? Selah.

Going into Thanksgiving week, whether it’s a national holiday where you live or not, let’s tune our hearts to gratitude this week. Jesus has given us so much - our very lives! Let’s thank Him as we worship…

Day 9 "You Are Lovely"

Love of The Lion, Love of The Lamb

Happy Lord’s Day Beauties!

Welcome back! Today, let’s return to our second attribute, LOVELY. The root word is LOVE, and as the Word says , “And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.” 1 Corinthians 13:13 (NIV)

In the Bible, the lion and the lamb symbolize different aspects of Jesus Christ's nature. The lion represents Jesus' power, authority, and victory over evil. In Revelation 5:5, Jesus is called the "Lion of the tribe of Judah". The Lamb represents Jesus' gentleness, sacrifice, and vulnerability. In Revelation 5:6, Jesus is depicted as a "Lamb standing, as though it had been slain". This symbolizes His victory at the cross. Do you see God’s love in all of these aspects? How do they relate to you? Both majesty and humility? Selah.

God loves you so much, he gives you His strength and power so you won’t have to rely on your own. In Ephesians, Paul prays that we may know, “his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come.”
Ephesians 1:19-21 (NIV)
This same power is yours because Christ lives in you. Can you grasp that truth? Write about what it means to you. Selah.

God also loves you so much He sent Jesus to Earth, who willingly became the sacrificial lamb, to die on the cross to save you from sin and give you eternal life with God. “He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before its shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth.” Isaiah 53:7 (NIV) To me, this is the ultimate example of true humility. Jesus is always thinking about us, even when tortured, you were on His mind, not His own pain and suffering. Write your thoughts of Jesus’ humility and meekness, (Strength under control.) Selah.

So Beauties, you have these same attributes which all lead to the LOVE living inside you. It’s time for you to believe, You Are Lovely.

Let’s receive God’s great love for us, and return our love and devotion with an expression of worship to our King of Glory.

Day 8 "Yet You Wear Humility"

Reliance on Jesus

Good Morning Beauties!

On the surface, it seems that Majesty and Humility are opposites, but in reality, they are quite similar. Both are fueled by God’s power living in us. The power to move mountains and the power to remain silent while being misunderstood, unheard, or unknown.

I love what the Message Bible says in Colossians 3:12, “So, chosen by God for this new life of love, dress in the wardrobe God picked out for you: compassion, kindness, humility, quiet strength, discipline. Be even-tempered, content with second place, quick to forgive an offense. Forgive as quickly and completely as the Master forgave you. And regardless of what else you put on, wear love. It’s your basic, all-purpose garment. Never be without it.”

The very best example of Humility fueled by Love comes from Jesus. He was humiliated, flogged, and hung on a cross, all the while remaining silent. It was an injustice of epic proportion, and yet He did not call down Angels to save Him. Jesus endured this torture for us - His Love for us. The first words He did say were, “Father forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” Luke 23:34. The true definition of Humility came from Jesus.

How well do you wear humility? Do you put others before yourself in the name of Love? Do you readily go to God for His wisdom instead of relying on yourself? Christ lives in us, so we are humble by that very fact. The question is, do our behaviors line up with this Truth?

He gives us the power and ability to act in humble ways, motivated by love. Take time to pray and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal Truth about your motivations. Selah.

While worshipping to this song, pray the Spirit will bing to mind that which you need to release as you prepare your heart for the Christ Child’s arrival this Christmas.

The Beauty of Strength and Power

Good Morning Beauties!

You are covered in the blessing of the majesty of Jesus. I can’t think of anything else that deserves this word, MAJESTY, other than our perfect Lord and Savior. He spreads out His loving arms and wraps you up in His glory. He shares His majesty with you. Selah.

Let’s continue looking at this “God Word”. In the Bible, the word "majestic" means mightier than everything else. It is used to describe God's greatness, power, and strength, and is an invitation to worship Him. Here are a few more scriptures to help us grasp the truth of who Jesus is and the gift of security He gives us through His strength and power.

“For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods, in whose hand are the depths of the earth; the peaks of the mountains are His also. The sea is His, for He made it [by His command]; and His hands formed the dry land. O come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before the Lord our Maker [in reverent praise and prayer].” Psalm 95:3-6 (AMP)

“Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised, In the city of our God, His holy mountain.” Psalm 48:1 (AMP)

“Splendor and majesty are before Him; strength and beauty are in His sanctuary.” Psalm 96:6 (AMP)

“Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, indeed everything that is in the heavens and on the earth; Yours is the dominion and kingdom, O Lord, and You exalt Yourself as head over all.” 1 Chronicles 29:11 (AMP)

“He will stand and shepherd his flock in the strength of the Lord, in the majesty of the name of the Lord his God, and they will live securely, for then his greatness will reach to the ends of the earth.” Micah 5:4 (NIV)

“Ascribe strength to God; His majesty is over Israel, and His strength is in the skies.” Psalm 68:34 (AMP)

What are you trying to do in your own strength? How does going it alone, without Jesus, add stress and anxiety? Read through the verses above again and know all of the strength and power of Jesus is yours. You need only ask in prayer. What’s holding you back from releasing your need for control and accepting the strength and power you need from Jesus? Selah.

Spend time with an extended version of this glorious worship song - worship Jesus with everything you have because He’s worthy of it all.

The Lord reigns, He is clothed with majesty and splendor; The Lord has clothed and encircled Himself with strength; the world is firmly established, it cannot be moved.

Day 6 "You Are Lovely"

Devoted Hearts

Good Morning Beauties!

Welcome to our second stanza of the song, You Are Beautiful, and the second spiritual truth, you are LOVELY. Let’s take a closer look at this word.

“Delightful for beauty, harmony, grace.” This definition comes from the Merriam Webster dictionary. In the Bible, the word LOVELY is used to describe things that are pleasing, attractive, or give pleasure. It can also mean something that is worthy of God or acceptable to Him.

God sees your loveliness, your beauty and grace. You delight Him and give Him great pleasure. Do you believe it? Can you accept this truth? Pray God would reveal anything that’s keeping you from receiving the truth of your loveliness. Selah.

Jesus is extending His hand and asking you to come and meet with Him.  To be wholly devoted to Him and leave the distractions and business of the world behind. He desires an intimate relationship with you.

Cardinals are often associated with deep devotion to their mates, symbolizing a strong, monogamous relationship due to their tendency to pair for life and actively defend their territory together, making their bond a representation of loyalty and commitment. Is this the kind of relationship you desire with Jesus? Selah.

Here’s a beautiful old hym that speaks of our lovely Lord Jesus and our heart’s devotion to Him.

Now, my dove, don’t be shy. Don’t hide from me in the clefts of the rock or nest like a bird in secret among the cliffs. Show me your lovely form. Let me hear your beautiful voice, for it sounds so sweet, and your face is so lovely.

Day 5 "Yes, You Are Beautiful"

Beautiful Daylight

Good Morning Beauties!

“For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives.” Romans 6:4 (NLT)

A fresh dusting of snow this morning is illuminated by His brilliant sunlight. This scene brings a freshness of a new season. Autumn has gone and we welcome the beauty of Winter. This season is also the time to celebrate the birth of Christ. The most beautiful baby who gave His life to save ours. Selah.

Do you see the symbolism of the newness of your life as you take one more step down the path with Jesus? The past is behind you and a brand new future awaits. As you trust Jesus in your continued discovery of your true identity in Him, what are your thoughts? How are you feeling? It’s been just 5 days since you’ve started your journey, and I know Jesus can make an impact in that amount of time. What has He revealed about your beauty and about your relationship? Will you let the past be the past and move on to the future He has for you, wholly devoted to Christ? Selah.

Let’s worship Jesus today with a sense of newness, like the daylight breaking at dawn.
