Day 21 "You Are Righteous"

Judged Righteous

Good Morning Beauties!

“Righteous” is our next attribute. Sometimes I find this one the hardest to fully believe. I still find myself trying to earn the favor of the Lord. How about you? Are you still striving to be good enough? Selah.

“You’re not good enough.” These four little words have been used by the enemy as one of his favorite weapons. Our dreams, self esteem, and confidence have all been assaulted by these words. What does that look like for you? Where has the enemy lied to you? What areas of your life have been damaged? Selah.

Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.” Romans 5:1 (NLT)

On the Day of Judgement, you will be found righteous! How does this truth change your world? If you truly believe you have made right with God, through Christ Jesus, and don’t have to pay for your sins, how do you feel? How does this truth effect your striving to be good enough? Selah.

Let’s thank Jesus for all He’s done to bring us into our right standing with Father God. Worship Him as the one who has declared, “you are good enough.”

Day 20 "And You Are Beautiful"

Courage with the King

Good Morning Beauties!

Day 20! We’re halfway through our journeys. I’m so happy you’re still here, pursuing God and a deeper relationship with Jesus as The Spirit is uncovering lies and revealing truth about who you really are in Him. Hallelujah!

I invite you to look back and see all the ways you have grown in the Lord these past 20 days. What have you learned about your beauty? Loveliness?Joyfulness? Royal Status? Journal the highlights and give thanks to our Lord Jesus Christ for His love and faithfulness. Selah.

By this time, about 30% of the women who started the journey have stopped. This fact always makes me sad, because I know God had even more for their personal growth and healing. You are brave and courageous to continue this journey you’re on. Please take a moment to recognize your accomplishment in continuing with Jesus on this glorious journey He has for you. Selah.

Brave - Nichole Nordeman

Love and Blessings,

Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord God, my God, is with you.

Day 19 "You Are Royalty"

You’ve Been Chosen

Good Morning Beauties!

On this fourth day of looking at our royal status with God, He’s shown me another difference between the physical and spiritual world. Royalty on Earth at times are elected. We, my beauties, have been selected into our Royal Family. We have been chosen by the King of Kings, Lord of Lords.

Google defines chosen as, “having been selected as the best or most appropriate..” WOW! You’ve been selected by God as BEST for His family. God has set you apart from the world to be true royalty.

What does “chosen” mean to you? Can you reflect on times when you were chosen and how it made you feel? What about a time when you were not chosen? What did that situation feel like? How did the enemy use that situation to harm you? Will you allow God’s truth of how He chose you to heal any wounds inflicted by the enemy? Selah.

Chosen - Kathryn Scott

Love and Blessings,
Kendra

For many are invited, but few are chosen.
— Matthew 22:14 New International Version
Day 18 "Heaven's Glow From You Abounds"

The Glow of Glory

Good Morning Beauties!

Have you ever known someone who “lights up the room” simply by walking into it? Their warm and inviting and sometimes exuberant personality puts everyone at ease and makes the crowd instantly feel better. How about the girlfriend who has fallen in love and is “floating on cloud nine”? We lean in and listen as she excitedly describes the romantic gesture her boyfriend displayed on last night’s date. We can’t forget the expectant mother who is about to burst and yet smiling from ear to ear in anticipation of seeing her child for the first time. These women “GLOW.”

We are naturally drawn to the light. Jesus is the one and true Light of the World. We can’t resist His perfect love! It’s this love that found us, saved us, transformed us, and gave us new life. Is your heart yearning for Him today? Are you wanting to bow in His presence and praise Him?

Just as Moses’s face glowed when he returned from spending 40 days with God, we light up from being in His presence as well. Can’t you just tell when someone spends time with Jesus? They glow with confidence, peace, love, kindness, gentleness, basically the fruit of the Spirit.

Will you join me in praying for our lights to shine in the darkness so we may, with the power of the Holy Spirit, draw others to our personal savior, Jesus. Selah.

He will make your innocence radiate like the dawn, and the justice of your cause will shine like the noonday sun.

Day 17 "You Wear The Victor's Crown"

Victim to Victor

Good Morning Beauties!

“You can be a victim or a victor, but you can’t be both.” I believe I first heard this statement from Joyce Meyer, and it got my attention. Whether she originated the phrase or not, I believe it to be true.

A lot of our victim mentality comes from the lies of the enemy. He wants to destroy our confidence, and steal the truth about who we are in Christ. How has he made you feel like a victim? Write down areas in your life you want to turn to victory and lift them to the Lord in prayer for His help. Selah.

I know some who are reading this blog post have been truly victimized through abuse or violence, and it’s a fact not a feeling. Please believe me when I say you can have victory over these areas too. Jesus has won the battle and the war, and has defeated the enemy. Are you willing to go into those hard places and ask the Spirit to heal them once and for all? Selah.

We are co-heirs with Christ; therefore, we share His victory and also wear the victor’s crown. Let’s give Him all the honor and glory as we praise His name today.
Victor’s Crown - Darlene Zschech

Love and Blessings,
Kendra

Day 16 "You Are Royalty"

Safe and Secure

Good Morning Beauties!

What a beautiful day to start our fourth attribute, Royalty. Does your mind first think of people, like Queen Elizabeth, or perhaps royal objects like castles, crowns, and jewels? These are definitely Earthly representations of royalty.

What if we shift our perspective to eternal things. What do you think of now? Selah.

When I contemplate my royal status in God’s family, I immediately think of how The King of Kings provides security through protection and provision. I don’t have to worry about these basic needs, because I know all my they are taken care of. I can simply live my life in freedom to pursue who my Father created me to be.

Let’s look at what the Bible says about this subject. “But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.” 2 Thessalonians 3:3 (NIV)

“Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds!” Luke 12:24 (NIV)

These are just two of many verses in God’s Word that confirm our security in Jesus. Let go of any anxiety of the things that He’s already provided as a member of His Royal Family. You are FREE to be who He’s created.

Day 15 "And You Are Beautiful"

Beautiful Change

Good Morning Beauties!

Gold and red leaves are now surrounded by sparkling white snowflakes. How quickly things can change. Though for most people change is difficult, let’s realize where it came from. God is ever changing us, from glory to glory, more into His likeness everyday. Change is hard, and change is good when it comes from God.

Take a look at your journal. Read your thoughts and beliefs on Day 1. What has changed in your mind and heart since that first day? Are you able to see change in your beliefs, feelings, thoughts? Is your relationship with Jesus growing? Take time today to journal about the changes you see in your journey so far, and let them motivate you to keep going strong. Selah.

Day 14 "You Are Joyful"

Joyful Rest

Good Morning Beauties!

When’s the last time you’ve been overwhelmed by the actual presence of Jesus? Do you know this sacred place? Do you run there often? What’s keeping you? Selah.

“Come to Me, all who are weary and heavily burdened [by religious rituals that provide no peace], and I will give you rest [refreshing your souls with salvation]. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me [following Me as My disciple], for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest (renewal, blessed quiet) for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy [to bear] and My burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30 (AMP)

In His presence we find His love, peace, sweet rest, and ultimately life transforming joy! Our glorious Savior and Friend wants nothing more than to exchange His easy yoke for your heavy burdens. Will you hand them over? Is your soul ready for His rest? Selah.

Spend some extended time today seeking Him and His presence. When you seek Him, you WILL find Him.

Day 13 "Grace Has Brought You Peace"

Peaceful Beauty

Good Morning Beauties!

The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.” Romans 16:20 (NIV) Thank you Lord Jesus for covering us from the enemy’s schemes and providing peace to our souls through Your amazing grace.

When we have an understanding of God’s grace, (His undeserved acceptance and favor) we will live in peace with ourselves and others. Let your mind reflect on God’s grace that saved you, redeemed you, and reconciled you to the Father. He loves you just the way you are, you don’t have to “clean up” for Him to love you.

If you think about the stress and strife in your life, what’s the root cause? Is it fear of not being good enough? Fear of rejection? Fear of financial security? Fearful memories of trauma? Jesus wants to crush these tormentors under His feet right along with the enemy who put them in your mind. Write them all down and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal any that are hiding in your subconscious., and then pray for Jesus to uproot them from your soul and replace them with His peace. Selah.

Remember John 10:10, Jesus came to give you abundant life. This new life is one of grace and peace. Write a prayer of thanksgiving to Jesus for bringing grace and peace to your life. Selah.

Day 12 "Your Spirit's Been Set Free"

Set Free

Good Morning Beauties!

So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” John 8:36 (NIV)
Ahhhh, freedom. What once was bound, now is free. Thank you Lord Jesus!

What has Jesus set you free from? Lies, heartache, depression, fear, anxiety, insecurity? Grab your journal and make your list. Selah.

Next, you’ll want to also write what Jesus has set you free to. Truth, peace, calm, boldness, confidence, joy, grace. Make your list and offer up a prayer of praise to the One who set you free. Selah.

Day 11 "You Are Joyful"

Joyful Praise

Good Morning Beauties!

Today we move forward in our journeys with our third attribute, joyful. The word simply means , “filled with joy.” Okay, so what does “joy” mean, what does it mean to your life, and do you believe you’re truly filled with it? Selah.

Do you know a person you consider to be joyful? What makes you believe so? What have they done or said that shows you and the world they are full of joy? Selah.

A psalm. For giving grateful praise.

1 Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.
2     Worship the Lord with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.
3 Know that the Lord is God.
    It is he who made us, and we are his;
we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving
    and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.
5 For the Lord is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all generations.” Psalm 100 (NIV)

From my experience, joy is at the center of my soul and is much more than a feeling. My Lord Jesus rescued me from the pit of hell, redeemed me, and reconciled me to the Father for eternity. No matter what life throws at me here on Earth, I know in my inner being God loves me and has called me His own. That knowledge compels me to shout for joy and give God praise! How about you? Do you know this inner joy that no circumstance can change? Selah.

Let’s start our day in joyous praise and dancing to our King Jesus

Day 10 "And You Are Beautiful"

The Beauty of Surrender

Good Morning Beauties!

“Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life will find it.” Matthew 10:39 (NIV)

Are you finding your new life in Christ? Have you been willing to open your heart to let Him deal with some real issues? The more we surrender (lose our life) the more we will find that abundant life Jesus came to give us. What has He been asking you to surrender? What’s holding you back? Will today be the day? Selah.

A fully surrendered life is BEAUTIFUL.

Day 9 "You Are Lovely"

Thank You Jesus

Good Morning Beauties!

The last two days we’ve looked at what seem to be opposing ideas - strength and power versus serving others. We can agree both are forms of loveliness, but how do we reconcile them together and live a life of majesty and humility at the same time? What other examples does Jesus show us through His life? Selah.

Write you thoughts about this concept. Ask the Spirit to reveal all He has for you so you can truly walk in the freedom of His loveliness. Selah.

I’m just so thankful for Jesus leaving His rightful place - the throne in Heaven - to come to Earth as a man in order to save my soul and give me abundant life. He deserves all my praise and adoration, every moment of every day.

1 I give you thanks, O Lord, with all my heart;
I will sing your praises before the gods.
2 I bow before your holy Temple as I worship.
    I praise your name for your unfailing love and faithfulness;
for your promises are backed
by all the honor of your name.
3 As soon as I pray, you answer me;
you encourage me by giving me strength.

4 Every king in all the earth will thank you, Lord,
for all of them will hear your words.
5 Yes, they will sing about the Lord’s ways,
for the glory of the Lord is very great.
6 Though the Lord is great, he cares for the humble,
but he keeps his distance from the proud.

7 Though I am surrounded by troubles,
you will protect me from the anger of my enemies.
You reach out your hand,
and the power of your right hand saves me.
8 The Lord will work out his plans for my life—
for your faithful love, O Lord, endures forever.
Don’t abandon me, for you made me.” Psalm 138 (NLT)

Let’s spend time worshipping our beloved Savior with all our hearts.

Day 8 "Yet You Wear Humility"

Beautiful Servant

Happy Lord’s Day Beauties!

Humility - Jesus provided many examples of His humility, and the washing of the disciples’ feet is one of my favorites. The story can be found in John 13:2-17.

2 The evening meal was in progress, and the devil had already prompted Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot, to betray Jesus. 3 Jesus knew that the Father had put all things under his power, and that he had come from God and was returning to God; 4 so he got up from the meal, took off his outer clothing, and wrapped a towel around his waist. 5 After that, he poured water into a basin and began to wash his disciples’ feet, drying them with the towel that was wrapped around him.

6 He came to Simon Peter, who said to him, “Lord, are you going to wash my feet?”

7 Jesus replied, “You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand.”

8 “No,” said Peter, “you shall never wash my feet.”

Jesus answered, “Unless I wash you, you have no part with me.”

9 “Then, Lord,” Simon Peter replied, “not just my feet but my hands and my head as well!”

10 Jesus answered, “Those who have had a bath need only to wash their feet; their whole body is clean. And you are clean, though not every one of you.” 11 For he knew who was going to betray him, and that was why he said not every one was clean.

What do you notice right away? Would you have reacted similarly to Peter? What would you have said? Selah.

The story continues with Jesus’ instructions to the disciples. He always blesses us so we can bless others.

12 When he had finished washing their feet, he put on his clothes and returned to his place. “Do you understand what I have done for you?” he asked them. 13 “You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am. 14 Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. 15 I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. 16 Very truly I tell you, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. 17 Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.

What does this story say to you? Spend time with God today and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal truth to you regarding Jesus’ example and how you are to move forward in humility. Selah.

‘Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be your slave— just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.’

Day 7 "Clothed In His Majesty"

The Beauty of His Majesty

Good Morning Beauties!

The sun is shining in the middle of a bright blue sky and the Autumn color is magnificent! Talk about majestic. Only our God could create such beauty.

Is this how you visualize majesty? In nature? How would you describe it to a friend? Are you willing to draw a picture of how you see it? Selah.

“Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty. Everything in the heavens and on earth is yours, O Lord, and this is your kingdom. We adore you as the one who is over all things.  Wealth and honor come from you alone, for you rule over everything. Power and might are in your hand, and at your discretion people are made great and given strength. ‘O our God, we thank you and praise your glorious name!’“ 1 Chronicles 29:11-13 (NLT)

I really love King David’s description of God here in 1 Chronicles. David paints a picture of power, strength, and might. Yes! This is our Lord and King!

Did you also notice David says that God makes us great and gives us strength, (at His discretion.) Jesus, Himself, takes off our filthy rags and clothes us with His robe, one of beauty, power, and strength - majesty. Will you receive this honor? Do you believe it’s for you? What doubt is running through your mind right now? Replace any doubts with God’s truth, you ARE clothed in HIS majesty. Selah.

I love how this scripture ends with thanking and praising God. What else can we expect from King David, the worshipper? Let’s follow his lead and take time to thank and praise our King Jesus. Selah.

Day 6 "You Are Lovely"

Filled with Love

Good Morning Beauties!

Today we begin our second attribute, lovely. Again, I suggest you define it in your own words. Write down your definition and journal your thoughts and beliefs. What does this word evoke in you - how does it make you think, feel, believe about yourself? Is it descriptive of you and your life, or is it foreign to anything you’ve ever believed? Selah.

Over the years I’ve altered my definition and beliefs. I now can look at the word and see the root - LOVE. Instead of visualizing attractive femininity, I see everyday women who love and serve the way Jesus did. HE is lovely! I now see women taking care of their elderly parents, struggling with all sorts of emotions as their beloved parent slips away. I see a busy mom who ran out of time to clean her blouse from her child’s vomit before heading for the carpool lane. I see a woman praying for a stranger and giving him something to eat.

Beauties, you ARE lovely. How have you loved like Jesus lately? Write down those things too. Don’t let the enemy steal those memories of how you are showing the love of Jesus through loving actions for others.

Get up and get ready to dance in all your loveliness!!

Day 5 "Yes, You Are Beautiful"

Courage is Beautiful
Photo by Paul Green on Unsplash

Good Morning Beauties!

Starting something new is difficult. Adding one more thing to your busy schedule is difficult. Uprooting deep seated lies is difficult. Yet, here you are doing it! You are courageous and a fighter, and I’m so proud of you.

Though it’s early in your journey, let’s pause and reflect on the first few days and the truths God wants you to know. Has your definition of beauty changed at all? Have you been willing to open your heart to the Lord and hear all He wants you to know? Are you trusting Him to care for you and provide truth that will lead to your freedom? Selah.

What obstacles have you run into? Were you expecting them? For anything new that’s blocking your path, have you created an action plan to overcome it for the remainder of your journey? Selah.

Are you still motivated and on fire to grow in the knowledge of who you are in Christ and increase your intimacy with Him? Pray a prayer of thanksgiving or one of surrender to His plan for you. Selah.

You’re doing great Beauties!

Day 4 "You Are Beautiful"

Faith + Acton = Beautiful Breakthrough

Good Morning Beauties!

Living a life of faith is BEAUTIFUL. Our faith pleases God as we’re told in Hebrews 11:6 (NIV) “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.”

The Bible provides many examples of someone’s faith pleasing Jesus - enough to stop and meet their need, usually through a miracle. Which stories come to mind for you? What stands out in these stories? Selah.

One of my favorites is the woman with the issue of blood. She knew if she could just reach out and touch the hem of Jesus’ garment, she would be healed. Jesus responded to her action, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace.” Luke 8:48 (NIV)

What does your faith look like today? Are you trusting God to meet your needs? The good news is God can move mountains with just a mustard seed of faith. If you struggle to have faith in God, what’s holding you back from trusting Him? Selah.

In the stories of faith we read in the Bible, there is always an action taken by the person seeking God’s help. What is He asking you to do? What action have you been reluctant to complete? Selah.

Beauties, let’s move forward today in our trust and faith in Jesus. Let’s fully believe in every word He has spoken. Let’s take action (where the Spirit has led us) and see how He will provide all we need.

Are you feeling the stress fall off your shoulders?. Do you feel your cheeks rise as your smile returns to your face? Hallelujah!

Day 3 "Loved Above All Things"

Covered by His Love

Good Morning Beauties!

Welcome back to Day 3. You’re doing great! I know this process is still new, and there’s bound to be some discomfort, but you’re HERE seeking God. Way to go!!

Today’s truth has a multitude of meanings - even for the same person. What do you first think when you hear you are “Loved above all things”? Journal your initial thoughts and see where the Holy Spirit takes you. Selah.

Though I’ve been on numerous 40 Day Journeys, God is faithful to reveal more and more to me each time Today He’s reminding me that His love for me is greater than all my sins. Of course, I know this truth, but at times I find it hard to walk it out on a daily basis.

Beauties, when we’re feeling bound by the lies of the enemy, we must find truth in God’s Word to set us free. In my case, I meditate on God’s truth which says, “Blessed is the one whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered.” Psalm 32:1 (NIV) Hallelujah!

You are loved. You are known. You are Beautiful.

Day 2 "Daughter Of The King"

Princess

Good Morning Beauties!

We are daughters of the Most High King! That makes you a princess. What is the first thing that comes to mind when you hear this truth? Do you believe it? What does it mean to you to be a Daughter of the King?Selah.

I‘ve found most women spend so much of their time trying to please others and live up to their expectations. Is this true for you? It may have started in childhood and increased as you grew into an adult. Living up to others’ expectations allows the enemy to shout, “You’re not enough!” What is it for you? Not good enough? Not pretty enough? Not thin enough? Not successful enough? Not serving the Lord enough? Not praying enough? Not reading the Bible enough? The list goes on and on, doesn’t it?

It’s time to silence the shouts of the enemy once and for all. First you must identify the lies. Write down how you are trying to fulfill the expectations of others. Perhaps your parents, spouse, children, or employer.

In Galatians, Paul proclaims to the people, “Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.” Galatians 1:10 (NIV) Paul understood he only has to please the Lord and nobody else to be a servant of Christ.
In fact, he can’t please both. His full attention and service is to Jesus, and by pleasing Him, Paul could fulfill is life’s purpose.

What does Paul’s example mean to you? Are you willing to let go of pleasing others and trying to meet their expectations so you too may serve Jesus with your entire heart? Selah.
