Day 9 "You Are Lovely"

Every Knee Will Bow

Happy Thanksgiving Beauties!

Today we celebrate an American tradition of taking time to Selah (stop and ponder) all the things we are grateful for. If we spent the entire day on our knees thanking God, there would still be even more blessings to count. Hallelujah!

One of the things I’m thanking God for today is how’s he’s removed the “Tomboy” stigma from my heart and replaced it with loveliness. Along with that blessing is the revealed truth of the strength of femininity. Jesus created us to be strong, confident, and bold all the while remaining humble, kind, and gentle - and that takes great strength.

“And one of the elders said to me, “Weep no more; behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has conquered, so that he can open the scroll and its seven seals.” And between the throne and the four living creatures and among the elders I saw a Lamb standing, as though it had been slain, with seven horns and with seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth.”

It’s like we have a lion and a lamb living inside of us. Actually, we do. Jesus dwells in each of us. He is the ultimate powerful lion of Judah and the humble lamb who was slain for our sins. He has given us everything we need to live our lives like Jesus - in spirit and truth. He’s given us the gentleness to approach a situation or people, as well as the boldness to speak in truth.

Who’s he put on your heart today? Is there a relationship that needs healing? Is he asking you to bring spirit and truth to move the relationship forward? How is he calling out to your lion and lamb today?
