Our King, Worthy of Praise

Good Morning Beauties!

Day 2 can be difficult for some women because of the relationship with their Earthly fathers. Some were healthy, good, and positive, yet others were harmful, neglectful, and even dangerous. I hope you had a supportive, kind, and loving Dad, here on Earth, but if not, I pray you will come to know your Heavenly Father, Abba, in a deeper way through your 40 Day Journey.

Psychology tells us a woman receives her identity from her father - this is true! As Christian women, we are daughters of the Most High King! Our true identity comes from Jesus! What does HE say about you?

Can you envision yourself as a daughter of a King? What would that be like? Now, imagine yourself as the daughter of THE KING OF KINGS! Take a moment and journal what this royal relationship means to you.

Do you see yourself in light of Jesus, The King? Let’s see what Psalm 24 has to say about our King of Glory…
”The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it; for he founded it on the seas and established it on the waters. Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord? Who may stand in his holy place? The one who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not trust in an idol or swear by a false god. They will receive blessing from the Lord and vindication from God their Savior. Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek your face, God of Jacob. Lift up your heads, you gates; be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, you gates; lift them up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is he, this King of glory? The Lord Almighty— he is the King of glory.”

I invite you to look at even more scriptures where Jesus is referred to as King. What does he want you to know about your identity through his Lordship?

Take a moment to worship your King…
