Peace Be Still

Good Morning Beauties!

Jesus is so good, so faithful. It is the Spirit who is stirring our hearts for all God has planned for us. Do you feel it? Though there’s much excitement, there’s also peace after my time with Jesus this morning.

Before I go much further, I want to provide some instruction for those who do not have the “You Are Beautiful Selah” journal, where the instructions can be found on pages 11-12. Here are the steps you’ll want to follow in your personal journal:
Pray before you start your journey each day.
Listen to the song, “You Are Beautiful” on the website.
Read that day’s verse and selah (stop, ponder these things)
Journal your answer to the question, “What do I believe about this truth?”
Spend time with God and ask him to reveal more about this truth to you.
Reflect on what God has spoken to your heart and journal your response.
Write down your prayer in response to your journey experience for that day.
Please reach out if you have any questions about the journey format.

This morning as I was waking up, the Lord gave me a very clear message. He said, “Stop, just stop.” I knew immediately what he meant. Stop striving, stop performing, stop pleasing…just BE. Does this message resonate with you?

We often get caught up in what we do and believe our behavior determines who we are. What a lie! Nothing we can ever do will be good enough to deserve what Christ freely died to give us. If we look at actions, it’s Jesus’ actions, not ours, that alone make us who we are….and we are BEAUTIFUL!

I recently sang a song at an event called “In Christ Alone” by Keith & Kristyn Getty. The Lord brought this lyric to mind as I spent time with him this morning, “What heights of love, what depths of peace, when fears are stilled and strivings cease.” I pray if you are living in fear or striving to be who you think you should be that you will go before the Lord and ask him to speak to you about his love for you.

Beauties, let’s set our hearts on Jesus as we begin our journey with him. It’s all about HIM.

Love and Blessings,
Kendra

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
