We're kicking off the Anoka Downtown June Jubilee with a Diaper Drive and Book Signing at Lillian's of Anoka. Donate $15 and receive a signed "You Are Beautiful, Selah" journal. PLUS - bring in a package of diapers and receive an in-store coupon to shop at Lillian's. It's a fun way to do a little shopping while you help the Anoka Community Mission provide diapers for moms and their babies. 40 Day Journey Summer 2018

Beginning on June 1, a community of women will gather together and meet me on my blog each day to walk through our 40 day journey together. Whether you just purchased your book, have been waiting for a good date to start, or want to participate in the journey again: this group is for you! 

I'll post my experiences and inspirations on my blog in hopes that these little reminders will help you along your own personal journey. 

As a reminder, there is no right or wrong way to experience these 40 days - I simply ask that you would come to God and allow Him to speak the words you need to hear. Everyone's journey will be unique to their own life experiences, and that is the beauty of coming together as a diverse community of women.  Please feel free to share encouragements that will help build each other up.

Salvation Army Women's Retreat

Kendra will be leading an inspirational workshop for the ladies at the The Salvation Army Women's Camp in Finlayson, MN on May 19th. She had the honor of speaking last year, and has been asked to come back with her "You Are Beautiful, Selah" journal.  This year's theme is "Declaring His Glory" from 1 Chronicles 16:32.  Walking in the Freedom and Truth of knowing who we are in Christ is definitely a declaration of God's Glory!   Kendra will inspire attendees to identify where God's Truth needs to transform the lies they currently believe. 

Here's what to expect:

-  Discussion on the reality of John 10:10 in our lives.  "The enemy came to steal, kill and destroy, I (Jesus) have come that they may have life, and have it to the full."

- Testimony of how God is using a simple song and journal to change lives

-  How to use the 40 Day Journey experience to create stronger intimacy with God

The 40 Day Journey - Summer 2018 community will begin June 1st, so journals will be made available to attendees at each session.  

Please note:  This retreat is a private event, however Kendra is currently scheduling for Fall and Winter 2018.  Please contact us at Kendra@BeholdingHisPresence.com to have Kendra attend your meeting and inspire your group.

Salvation Army Lunch and Learn

As part of an ongoing series of employee health and wholeness, The Salvation Army Wellness Committee has asked Kendra to inspire and encourage employees at the Northern Divisional office during a Lunch and Learn session.  Kendra will be speaking about the benefits of knowing our true identity in Christ and how her "You Are Beautiful, Selah" journal is a valuable resource for that process. 

Journals will be made available during the session.  Sorry gentlemen, this one is for the ladies.

New Book Group!

 

Join me as we walk together through our 40 Day Journey with God as a Facebook Community Group.  Our journey begins with 3 days of preparation starting 2.18.18, and Day 1 of our 40 Day Journey is 2.21.18.  Why begin in the middle of February?  Great question!  We will  complete our journey on Easter Sunday. Can you think of better timing to open yourself to transformation than the renewal of Easter?

This community has been created to meet each morning to receive encouragement and accountability as you go through your journey.  There are plenty of obstacles standing in the way of coming to God for 40 consecutive days to let go of lies, and believe Truth instead.  The group exists to help you stay engaged and committed to meeting with God as you walk through your journey with Him. 

My prayer is that you will hunger for time with God and listen as He replaces lies you believe with His Truth. He loves you so much and has come to bring you life...a life overflowing with abundant joy and freedom.

Your Holiday Gift Guide

This Christmas season, I don't want you to get caught up in the consumerism of our culture. I don't want you to buy this book for the sake of having a present to wrap. I want you to embrace the challenge that God gave me and is allowing me to share with others.

If you or a lady in your life seems up for the challenge, consider gifting them the You Are Beautiful journal. It's an opportunity to come together as a community of women and explore the depths of God's heart for us. I truly believe that everyone can benefit from this journal, and only when we dedicate time each day to spend time with God, He reveals Himself.
