The Beauty of Heaven’s Glow
Good Morning Beauties!
How do we know if we’re walking in the freedom Christ died to give us? Isn’t that what this journey’s about? So, how do we know if we’re making progress? Will we feel something? Will we look different? Will there be tangible results? Selah.
Today’s lyric is one of my favorite. God gave me a beautiful picture in my head of His warm golden glow coming from Heaven to live in and through us. As we uncover the lies of the enemy residing in us, Heaven’s glow (His truth and love) will illuminate the darkness and eventually overflow onto others.
I bet you’ve seen people you know appear to be glowing. Whether it’s new found romantic love, the fullness of an expected baby, or perhaps during worship, an overwhelming expression of love is surely the reason. God allows these intense moments on Earth so we may get a glimpse of how much He loves us.
“Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.” Psalm 34:8 (NIV) When we have a taste of the goodness of God, all we can do is share it with others. Holding it in is selfish, and the love of God is anything but self serving. His love always serves others.
So, the answer is, yes! We WILL reveal our progress by the way we feel, look, and love others. How is your progress? Selah.
