Day 8 "Yet You Wear Humility"

Good Morning Beauties!

We’ve all heard the popular expression, “The struggle is real.” Well, I struggle with humility. I have only recently gained the knowledge and belief in my true value, so I have a difficult time when someone mistreats me. But that’s just it! Humility isn’t allowing someone to treat us poorly.

The Lord is so patient and kind. He has taught me this lesson before, and is reminding me this morning ~ humility is simply thinking more about others than myself. It’s pretty simple really. Do I spend most of my time concerned for myself, my life, my convenience?

God is here to take care of me and all that concerns me, so there is no need for me to consume my time thinking of such things. My time and energy are to be on others, always others. Holy Spirit, please help me take my mind off myself and onto others and how I can best serve them. Show me today who I am to bless, encourage, and join in prayer.

Do you have the same struggle? What is God asking you to do?

Love and Blessings,
Kendra

Be free from pride-filled opinions, for they will only harm your cherished unity. Don’t allow self-promotion to hide in your hearts, but in authentic humility put others first and view others as more important than yourselves.
