Day 8 "Yet You Wear Humility"

Good Morning Beauties! 

We are humble because Christ is humble, and He lives in us.
So what is this thing called humility? I really like the C. S. Lewis quote below, "True humility is not thinking less of yourself; it is thinking of yourself less."

What does it look like? For me, the perfect picture of humility is the passion of the Christ. Jesus was humiliated, tortured, rejected by those He loved, made to carry His own cross up the hill to Calvary, and then nailed to that cross. All of these things happened while He remained silent.

Luke 23:34 tells us His first words spoken, "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they are doing." He was thinking of others, of you and me. He was thinking of how His sacrifice would reconcile us with the Father for eternity, and He was thinking we were worth the pain.

What is He saying to your heart today?
