Day 7 "Clothed in His Majesty"
Happy Thanksgiving Beauties!
I’m so thankful this morning for all of you who are on this journey with me, for your courage and strength and desire to know God more. Blessings to you all today!!
Let’s look at Majesty….
The first thing that comes to mind when I hear the word is the image of Majestic Mountains and Purple Mountains Majesty from "God Bless America." Majesty is grand, it's glorious, it's regal; and we are clothed in it!
Clothing is important to me. I think in society, in general, we all use our clothing to express what the inner person is really like. Think preppy, hippie free-spirit, and sporty. Three distinct visions come to mind, right? How much more important are the spiritual garments we wear that show the world who we really are on the inside of our spirit?
I looked up the definition of Majesty and found the word Dignity, and I love what it means. "speech indicative of self-respect." WOW! What do our words indicate about what we think of ourselves? It doesn't have to be overt self-hate words, but what are the subtle words we use? Do we use words that bring life or death to ourselves? Selah.
I encourage you to read Proverbs 31 today. It's a glorious picture of a Godly woman. Verse 25 says, "She is clothed with strength and dignity; she laughs at the days to come." I love this picture! A woman who has self-respect, is strong, does not fear, and is confident. Does this picture describe you? If not, ask the Lord to help reveal any lies that keep you from believing the Truth about who you really are. Selah.
Here’s a beautiful song to worship God’s majesty.
Love and Blessings,
Kendra
